Suzuki exhibited its entire national BS6 product line at the 2020 Auto Expo for the first time, but the highlight on the booth was a motorcycle that is not available in our country: the Suzuki Katana 1000. This new motorcycle is inspired by the 1982 Suzuki Katana that first caused a sensation in the motorcycle industry.
The name Suzuki Katana was borrowed from Suzuki old model when it was a popular sports wagon with the same nameplate. Suzuki Katana 2021 is based on Suzuki GSX-S1000F, powered by a 999 cc four-cylinder engine.

Suzuki Katana 1000 Specifications
The 999 cc drive train of the Suzuki Katana is tuned to a peak output of 147bhp at 10,000 rpm and a maximum torque of 105 Nm at 9,500 RPM. The motorcycle features a fully adjustable KYB 43mm USD front fork. Mono-shock configuration at the rear. The motorcycle is also equipped with three-stage traction control that can be switched off. For braking, the company installed Brembo, with radial calipers together with ABS.
Suzuki Katana Design
Under the skin, it will essentially still be the newest bike, but it looks markedly different. A headlight is still a rectangular unit but a full LED. There is an interesting styling element at the back, with the number plate holder. The taillight is at the top in its traditional place at the end of the sub frame.
